Unpacking the Mysteries of Abalone Head Counts

The number of head count refers to the number of abalone that makes up a catty or 600g. The larger the head count, the smaller the abalone.  "1 head" means 1 piece of abalone weighing 600g; "2 head" means 2 pieces of abalone, average weight of 300g each; "4 head" means 4 pieces of abalone, average weight of 150g each.
